Lyndhurst Grove, London SE15

This project provided a ground floor, loft and full internal refurbishment for a returning client in a vibrant part of South London. Utilising permitted development rights, we were able to transform a derelict early-Victorian terraced house into a five-bedroomed townhouse, adding a bedroom at roof level and a side-return extension and hugely increasing the property value.

Careful consideration was given to the typology of the terraced house, with the rear extension envisaged as an ‘inside-outside room’. Full width sliding folding doors maximise views and access to the garden and the materials palette of timber cladding, polished concrete floors and kitchen worktops successfully conveys a sense of refined industrial character in this development.
